LiveHerz — Privacy Policy

LiveHerz ("the app", "we") is a student-living platform for the Herzliya / Reichman University community: housing listings, sublets, roommate matching, a student marketplace, services, and events. This policy describes what data the LiveHerz mobile app collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to identify your account. Optionally, a display name and profile details you choose to add.
• Content you create — listings, sublet and marketplace posts, roommate profile, service offers, chat messages, and photos you upload.
• Usage analytics — anonymous in-app events (for example, which screens are used) to improve the product. Analytics events do not include your email or message content.

What we do NOT collect

• No precise device location — the app does not request location permissions; maps display listing areas only.
• No contacts, call logs, SMS, or files beyond photos you explicitly attach.
• No advertising identifiers. The app contains no ads and no third-party ad SDKs.

How your information is used

• To operate the service: sign-in, showing your posts to other users, delivering messages between you and brokers, sellers, or other students.
• To keep the community safe: reports you submit and blocks you set are used for moderation.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Where data is stored

Data is stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, profile, posts, and uploaded media. You can also request deletion by emailing us at dev@liveherz.com.

Children

LiveHerz is intended for university students and other adults aged 18 and over.

We may update this policy as the product evolves; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
